Everything you need to complete Driver Education

One course combines the required classroom, online, driving, and permit-test components.

Student & Parent OrientationRequired in-person orientation at Mattanawcook Academy.
Two Live Zoom ClassesBoth required classroom sessions are completed live online.
AAA Coursework IncludedYour required AAA online course voucher is included in tuition.
10 Hours Behind the WheelFive individual 2-hour driving sessions.
Review & Permit TestRequired in-person review and permit test at Mattanawcook Academy.
Course CompletionCompletion documentation after all course requirements are finished.
Reserving a seat: Registration temporarily holds an available seat during review. Once approved, the applicable payment must be received by your Seat Hold Deadline. When more than 7 days before Orientation, the normal initial payment is a $200 non-refundable deposit; within 7 days of Orientation, the full remaining balance is required.

AAA completion

AAA coursework must be 100% complete no later than 4 days before the Review & Permit Test unless an exception is approved.

Behind-the-wheel scheduling

Students may schedule no more than 2 driving appointments per week and no more than 1 per day. Driving may continue after the Review & Permit Test.
